This SEL course has helped me gain a deeper understanding of what Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is and what it should look and feel like in the classroom. In today's world, it is more important than ever for educators to learn effective ways to help students understand, express, and regulate their emotions. The course provided practical strategies that can be applied in everyday classroom situations. As teachers, when we are equipped to support students through emotional outbursts, anger, frustration, and other challenges, we can create a more positive learning environment and help them achieve their full potential. I found this course both insightful and highly relevant to the needs of today's learners.
